Hi, I’m Sophie, the heart and soul behind Brightwing Photography!

Photography has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember, but over the years, it’s become so much more

— it’s my true calling.

 

Weddings are my speciality, and I love nothing more than capturing those real, unscripted moments of love, laughter, and connection that make your special day uniquely yours.

My journey into photography runs deep in my family. My great-great-grandfather was a photographer, and I’ve always felt a strong connection to that legacy. In fact, my new brand was inspired by the beautiful illustrations from his old business card.

 

For me, photography is about more than just images—it’s about preserving memories, love stories, and the connections that tie us together, whether it’s with family, friends, or a life partner.

When I’m not behind the lens, you’ll find me at home with my little ones. Becoming a mum has only deepened my understanding of how precious life’s fleeting moments are, and it inspires me to capture those once-in-a-lifetime memories for my clients.

I believe in creating an experience that feels relaxed, fun, and true to who you are. I’m here to make sure you can enjoy your wedding day while I quietly work behind the scenes, capturing the magic as it unfolds.
